Gaia Resources

Capability Development

Case Study

“From the beginning of our engagement with ZestHR, the team, and in particular Kathi, have been able to truly understand the uniqueness of Gaia.

With great communication, listening and delivery they have been able to support the goals of Gaia by building a custom program fit for business.”

MISSION GOALS

Gaia Resources is all about growth and nurturing their crew. They were on the hunt for a unique capability development strategy that mirrors their one-of-a-kind business and awesome team. The goal? Boosting confidence, skills, and adding even more vibe to their already awesome culture.

THE SOLUTION

ZestHR worked closely with Gaia’s leadership team to develop a capability framework to clarify what skills and attributes Gaia people need. Then the team was invited to provide their take on which areas should take priority through a training needs analysis survey.

This resulted in a series of online workshops being curated for this remote-first, contemporary team. Focusing on communication, accountability and creating great teams, the feedback from the outset was stellar. The team loved the content, approach and their ability to shape the program.

HIGHTLIGHTS

Tailored Content

We used Gaia’s own tools to cover all the concepts, making the learning process smoother and more effective.

Contemporary Learning

These workshops are hands-on, engaging, and zeroed in on tackling the team’s daily hurdles.

Community Creation

This custom program is like a supercharged team-building exercise. It brought everyone at Gaia together to collaborate and foster empathy for each other’s challenges. As a result, the team have built their understanding of each others roles and perspectives.

Behavioural Change

We made sure the program was a learning journey experience for everyone involved, building on each topic. And the best bit? Now we’ve started these workshops we can see the Gaia team are taking the lessons and putting them to work, sparking some real, hands-on changes already!
