Engagement Survey
Ishar Multicultural Women’s Health Services is a Western Australian not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting women and families from refugee, migrant and culturally diverse backgrounds. Established in 1992, Ishar delivers holistic health, mental health, family support, family and domestic violence, advocacy and community education services, supporting more than 2,500 women from over 80 ethnic backgrounds each year.
With a workforce of approximately 40–50 employees, the organisation plays a vital role in creating safe, inclusive and culturally responsive services for women across Perth.
Like many purpose-driven organisations, Ishar recognised the importance of listening to employee feedback and understanding the factors influencing engagement, wellbeing and workplace culture.
While engagement and pulse surveys had been conducted previously, leadership identified a potential barrier to receiving fully honest feedback. Employees were unsure whether survey responses were truly anonymous, creating a risk that valuable insights may not have been captured.
To strengthen confidence in the process and ensure employees felt safe sharing their perspectives, Ishar engaged Zest to independently manage and deliver its employee engagement survey.
Zest provided an end-to-end engagement survey solution designed to build trust, encourage participation and deliver meaningful workforce insights.
